Isle of Hope K-8 gets state STEM award

isle of hope schoolSAVANNAH – The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and the TAG Education Collaborative (TAG-Ed) have named the Isle of Hope K-8 School the statewide winner for the “Best Georgia STEM Day activity” in the annual 2015 Georgia STEM Education Awards! The Georgia STEM Education Awards recognize schools, programs, and companies for outstanding efforts and achievements in supporting and promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Education in Georgia.  Winners were announced during a gala event that took place on August 28, 2015.    Winners competed in 8 different categories in the statewide event. “High-tech careers are some of the most in-demand and highest paying jobs in our country and the anticipated shortage of employees is staggering,” said Amanda Hendley, Chief Operating Officer for TAG. “Our 2015 STEM Education Award winners are the best of the best and are making a major impact on workforce development in Georgia.”
