Three arrested in Barnes Drive shooting, one remains at large

suspects2Three arrests have been made in a triple shooting which occurred in September on the 1400 block of Barnes Drive and a fourth suspect remains at large.

The shooting injured Asim Simmons, 19, and claimed the lives of Jayquan Turner, 24 and Javon Wilson,19.

Emile Randolph, 32, who on Sept. 18 was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in the case, is now charged with murder. His warrants were served at the Chatham County Detention Center.

Tom Frazier, 18, was arrested at an apartment on the 11000 block of White Bluff Road and charged with armed robbery. Asim Simmons was arrested on the 100 block of Queen’s Retreat and charged with murder and armed robbery.

Investigators continue to search for Quamelius Lee, 20, who is wanted for murder and armed robbery. Lee is a black male, standing 5-11 and weighing 140.

Shots were fired on Sept. 12 as the victims and suspects in this case met outside an apartment building to settle a dispute about a robbery that occurred the day before.
