Three sought after attempt to steal meat from Savannah Sam’s Club

SAVANNAH, Ga. (OS) — Three people who tried to steal hundreds of dollars worth of meat from a Savannah Sam’s Club Oct. 29 may be tied to a similar incident in Pooler earlier the same day.

But in this attempt at the Montgomery Cross Road location they were foiled by store employees who approached them, causing them to flee the store and escape in a U-Haul rental van.

Investigators believe these suspects may be linked to a similar theft committed on the same day at Sam’s Club in Pooler.

The first suspect is a heavy set black female who appears to be in her late teens to early twenties, with shoulder-length two-toned hair. During the incident she wore a purple hooded sweatshirt with a zipper  and blue jeans and  carried a large tote bag.

The second suspect is a heavy set black female, possibly in her late 30s to early 40s. She wore braided hair, a dark jacket, striped shirt, blue jeans and a large tote bag.

The third suspect is a black male in his 20s with a slender build. During the incident he wore a black long sleeve shirt, dark pants and dark colored shoes that may have been Adidas.
